Spotlight: Transport

The CNS network is comprised of ROADM, SONET, MPLS-TP and L3 systems allowing the ability to transport a wide variety of protocols including T1, DS3, OCx, DWDM windows, MPLS and Layer 2-3. CNS carries the traffic of a wide range of customers across the region, including banks, health institutions, telephone companies, government agencies, as well as the largest wireless carriers in the nation. CNS has POPs in the major metro areas, and with the help of our owner-partners, our network covers a vast footprint of outstate communities and rural areas that other carriers simply cannot reach. CNS’ network meets the stringent technical requirements for backhaul of the major national wireless carriers, for latency, jitter, throughput, recovery time, up-time, diverse paths and redundancy. These same high standards for performance and quality are inherently available to all customers riding the CNS network. Learn more about CNS Transport.

Spotlight: RUS Loan Design

When Paul Bunyan Communications needed help applying for an RUS loan, they turned to CNS. Leveraging decades of experience with the RUS loan programs, CNS engineering staff managed the project from conception through submittal of the completed application, as well as follow-up with RUS during the review and processing of the application. “We had a very small window of time to complete the loan design and submit our application,” says Dave Schultz, CFO of Paul Bunyan Communications. “We placed a lot of confidence in the CNS team based on their experience, and they really came through for us.” Learn more about CNS Engineering & Consulting.
